Born in Cape Town, South Africa.
Chris has always been a keen lover of sports. As a youth he played rugby, football, cricket, and squash at a provincial level. Since those early days Chris’s love and involvement in sports has continued to grow. After finishing school, Chris studied Human Movement Science at Stellenbosch University and whilst there played in their prestigious rugby team.
He moved to the UK in 2001 to play semi- professional rugby and during this time he has represented Barbarians, England Counties and Samurai International 7's teams.
Chris became a trainer over 15 years ago and in that time he has worked with professional rugby, football, squash, tennis and golfers, British Winter Biathlon athletes and now recently is looking after the British and Welsh sailors and Olympic Weight lifters.
Chris believes in simplicity of training combined with hard work. In his eyes there is no magic pill, or easy way to attaining fitness. Good coaching, determination, combined with the correct dietary choices is the only way to achieve the body or fitness levels you are looking for.
